"NIce place just on the fringe of the city" Reception staff were helpful and service was good. Free car parking was a bonus. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food. It is a pleasant 2km walk into the city centre.

"Great hotel and great price" Stayed here in early June for 2 nights and can thoroughly recommend the hotel. Booked a double room with extra bed for a small child and the weekend room rate was less than 90 Euros including breakfast (there is no charge for children less than 12 years old). The one downside is that the hotel is a little out of the way, but this is more than made up by the excellent hotel service provided (this is a 4 star hotel). A very efficient taxi service to the main square and already described in other reviews, is an extra cost but considering the good value room rate, this is a minor expense. With regards to location the hotel is set in some very nice parkland, there are sheep in fields surrounding the hotel and there is also a small adventure playground closeby to keep small children occupied. In the summer season, the hotel also has a bouncy castle which again allowed the adults to enjoy the finest of Belgian Beers on the terrace whilst the little ones played in the beer garden. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. We also dined in the restaurant one evening and felt that although it wasn't an extensive menu, the quality of food was also excellent and very good value for money. A final mention for any Diamond Hilton Honors members. This is a member of the Hilton chain of hotels and as such, Diamond members in addition to the complementary water/fruit also get a 25% reduction on all food and drink consumed in the hotel.
