"Delightful hotel in a beautiful city"
What a lovely hotel! Friendly, welcoming staff, great location. We had a deluxe room with the most comfortable beds - feather duvets and pillows, blissful!
The hotel hammam and swimming pool were also really lovely and welcome after a day of sightseeing.
Very quiet and peaceful and a real oasis of calm, I'll definitely stay here again.

"Great place to stay"
We chose this hotel for a two night weekend break. Rooms are large and well appointed. We drove from Calais in a little over an hour. The hotel e-mailed me directions which were very clear and easy to follow. The public car park, situated underneath the square is perfectly safe and very reasonably priced - 17.40 euros from Friday afternoon until Sunday lunch time. No hospitality tray in the room, but room service is readily available and is quick to respond. Us Brits cannot start the day without our tea! The hotel is no more than a ten minute walk to the Markt and other "touristy" bits. We did not eat in the hotel because there are dozens of good restaurants within walking distance, all catering for tourists and locals alike. The hotel is very quiet and there is no disturbance from traffic. Staff are attentive and very efficient. All in all a good place to stat and I wold not hesitate to return.

"very comfortable"
My husband and I enjoyed a short break in Brugge. The Sofitel was exactly what we wanted. It has a good location, just a little outside the centre but walking distance to everything. The hotel has charm and character. The room was a good size, with a comfortable king bed and a cozy design. Also it had good soundproofing, because the hotel was fully booked and there was a big fair going on just outside the hotel, but we never heard any noise. The breakfast was an adequate buffet. The staff was good. When we visit Brugge again we will certainly stay in this hotel.
Brugge is a jewel of a town, but it is almost run over by hordes of tourists. Among other things, this affects the quality of the restaurants and cafes. We went into town for some dinner in the evening (restaurant 't Schrijverke), but the food was not very good. A dissappointment, because the Belgian cuisine normally is a treat.
