16th century listed building, now a luxury Jan Brito Hotel with every comfort. Much more than the exterior has been preserved. This impressive mansion has been tastefully refurbished, conserving unique decorations from former centuries: marble mantelpieces, paintings, oak staircase, exposed oak beams. The owners and staff guarantee you a warm and personal welcome.
LOCATION

Jan Brito Hotel is quietly situated in the heart of Bruges. 20 meters from the most romantic and picturesque canals, 200 meters from the Burg square (City Hall) and Market square (Belfry).

The unique location allows you to reach all places of interest in only a few minutes walk. Go for a jog or a relaxing walk in the Astridpark (20 meters) or the so called ""botanical garden"" with its majestic trees, its swans, ducks and pigeons. Don't miss the romantic view of the canals and eldest bridges (14th century) by night at only 20 meters.
PROPERTY AMENITIES

* An international buffet breakfast is served each morning between 8 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. in the elegant breakfast room. You can have a continental breakfast served directly in your bedroom.

* The hotel features a beautiful Renaissance garden with a 100-year old beech tree, where you can take long walks and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.
ROOM AMENITIES

* The hotel offers single, double, triple and qaudruple rooms, each elegantly furnished and decorated and featuring private bathroom with hairdryer. Some rooms are reserved for non-smoking guests.

* All rooms are furthermore equipped with direct dial phone, individually controlled air conditioning, desk, electronic safe, ADSL Internet connection, ironing facilities, heating, radio, colour TV and mini bar. Some rooms have a view over the garden. Baby cots are available on request.

* You can ask for specially equipped rooms for disabled persons.

* Four unique double rooms are located in a separate building in the garden (the former horse-stable, tea house, coach house and house chapel) and feature a bedroom and a separate sitting room, a bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi tub.

We stayed in the Maids Room for two nights in September. We found the hotel to be very charming, classic yet modern. The hotel is conveniently located. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A computer was available with Internet access in the lobby which was very useful.
